This trial will examine if maridebart cafraglutide as an adjunct to standard of care will lead to a reduction in heart failure (HF) events such as HF hospitalizations and urgent HF visits, cardiovascular (CV) deaths and improvement in HF symptoms in participants with HF with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and HF with mildly reduced ejection fraction (HFmrEF) who are obese. This is a phase 3, global, multicenter, 2-part trial with a double-blind period and an open-label extension (OLE).

Powerful new drugs that can prevent or delay end stage kidney disease (ESKD) - so called sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) - are now available for patients with type 2 diabetes. Whether these drugs have similar effects in patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D) remains unknown because of the few studies in this population, due to concerns about the increase in risk of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA, a serious, potentially fatal acute complication of diabetes due to the accumulation of substances called ketone bodies) observed with SGLT2i therapy in T1D.

Aerobic exercise has emerged as an effective treatment to reduce sport-related concussion symptom severity, yet existing work lacks rigor regarding the precise exercise volume and intensity required to elicit therapeutic effects, how exercise can alter concussion-related pathophysiology, and whether exercise can prevent the development of secondary sequelae. Our objective is to examine if a high dose exercise program (higher volume than currently prescribed at an individualized, safe intensity level) initiated within 14 days of concussion results in faster symptom resolution, altered physiological function, or reduced secondary sequalae.

In a randomized controlled trial (RCT), the investigators will recruit participants to an 8-week "app-based wellness" intervention, followed by a 12-week follow-up period. The investigators will recruit a total of 276 self-declared Chronic Hematological Cancer (CHC) patients who (representative of age, race/ethnicity, and gender) will be on stable CHC pharmacologic therapy (if any), self-identify as sleep disturbed (\>5 on Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), do not have a sleep disorder diagnosis, do not take sleep medication/supplements \>3 times per week, and are not currently practicing regular meditation.

The goal of this study is to understand if there are differences in the fat, muscle and metabolism of individuals who developed obesity during childhood versus those who developed obesity in adulthood. This study aims to determine whether a 6-month multilevel intervention involving problem-solving training, exercise training and support from community health workers is more effective in improving outcomes for individuals with low socioeconomic status, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and early cardiac dysfunction than receiving education and access to a community exercise facility.

This study tests a chatbot called Therabot-CALM to help people who use cannabis with anxiety and/or low mood. Participants will do questionnaires, try the chatbot for 4 weeks, and join virtual interviews to give feedback on how usable and helpful it feels. The goal is to see if the chatbot is acceptable to users and can improve symptoms.

The goal of this pragmatic trial is to provide Real World Evidence (RWE) on the impact of the result of a polygenic risk prediction test of cardiorenal complications of T2D, so that more patients at high risk of these complications achieve over an 18 months period, recommended therapeutic targets. This will be demonstrated as a significant improvement in a composite value including HbA1c or systolic blood pressure (SBP) or albuminuria (UACR), or glomerular filtration rate (GFR) lowering.

PAD-VRCE is an observational, cross-sectional, two arm study aimed at determining if the presence of peripheral artery disease (PAD) can influence the number of circulating regenerative cells in blood. From peripheral blood samples, circulating progenitor cell content will be assessed via flow cytometry and compared between individuals with PAD and individuals without PAD.
