Our study is a prospective study using a randomized, double-blinded design to test 4 weeks of SNA blockade (oral clonidine) compared with a BP-lowering control condition (diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide) or a placebo.

This is a phase 1, open-label, non-randomized study enrolling pediatric and young adult research participants with treatment-refractory Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), to examine the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of administering T cell products derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) that have been genetically modified to express CD19 specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) A child or young adult meeting all eligibility criteria and meeting none of the exclusion criteria will have their T cells collected. The primary objective of this study is to measure the concentration and the regional brain distribution of activated brain microglia/macrophages using the PET radiopharmaceutical \[F-18\]DPA-714 in individuals with chronic pain and fatigue suspected to be associated with neuroinflammation. The PET tracer \[F-18\]DPA-714 binds to the 18 kDa translocator protein (TSPO, also known as the peripheral benzodiazepine receptor) in the mitochondria of activated microglia/macrophages and provides a non-invasive measure of neuroinflammation.
