Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly known as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a major global public health concern, is commonly associated with obesity, diabetes, and dyslipidemia. MASLD is currently the most common cause of chronic liver disease affecting about 80% of people with obesity, ranging from simple fat deposits in the liver to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), cellular injury, advanced fibrosis, cirrhosis, or hepatocellular carcinoma.

In this study, a new method will be used to evaluate response to 2 approved biologic therapies, and assess how well each patient responds to each asthma treatment. This study will measure the response to these treatments using genomic and biologic measurements obtained from participants biosamples.

Most individuals with asthma can effectively manage their symptoms and maintain normal lung function using inhaled medications, unfortunately, there is a subset of asthma sufferers whose symptoms, lung function, and risk of asthma attacks remain unimproved despite conventional inhaled medications. There could be several reasons for this.

This study will provide insight into whether cardiac function changes with oral Ketone Esters (KE) administered to patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Plasma ketones are avidly extracted by cardiac muscle and their uptake is not dependent upon insulin or influenced by insulin resistance.

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine if positive pressure during inspiration will improve penetration of aerosolized N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) into airway mucus plugs in the lungs of patients with asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does delivery of aerosolized NAC with positive inspiratory pressure have a greater effect on mucus plug burden in the lungs than delivery of NAC without positive pressure.
