A Trial to Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of Maridebart Cafraglutide in Adults Living With Elevated Liver Fat and Obesity or Overweight

The main objective of this trial will be to determine whether maridebart cafraglutide is superior to placebo on reduction in liver fat content and body weight in participants living with obesity or overweight and elevated liver fat content, when administered in conjunction with reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) is the most common cause of chronic liver disease worldwide and predominately affects individuals with overweight and obesity, as well as those with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Tirzepatide is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity.

The proposed study is an open label, non randomized, waitlist controlled single group feasibility study of the feasibility and usability of a digital intervention (called ChangeBite) to be used by individuals with obesity and comorbid binge eating behavior.
