- •Adults with BMI between 27 and under 40 (Part A)
- •Adults with a confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) (Part B)
- •HbA1c of at least 7% and under 10.5% (Part B)
- •BMI between 25 and under 45 (Part B)
- •Using a stable dose of metformin, or metformin plus an SGLT2 inhibitor (Part B)
🚫 You may not be able to join if…
- •Anyone with known HIV infection (Part A)
- •Anyone with known current or chronic hepatitis C or hepatitis B infection (Part A)
- •People taking weight management or diabetes medicines other than metformin and SGLT2 inhibitors (Part B)

Is it safe? Who makes sure of that?+
This is a mid-stage study (Phase 2), looking at safety and whether the treatment works.
