✅ You may be able to join if…
- •Adults older than 40 years
- •Have type 2 diabetes for at least 5 years
- •Have cardiovascular disease, OR have certain diabetes-related problems (like diabetic retinopathy, kidney problems, or nerve problems) or higher hs-CRP along with a history of at least two heart/metabolic risk diagnoses (like hypertension or high cholesterol)
- •Are willing to do HEMOTAG checks, including at-home HEMOTAG at least three days per week for set time periods
- •Can give informed consent (and must speak English)
🚫 You may not be able to join if…
- •Life expectancy less than 12 months due to a terminal condition
- •Physical chest problems (deformity or lesion) that would stop proper HEMOTAG use or adjustment
- •Skin issues or other illness/condition that would likely get worse or cause significant discomfort from the HEMOTAG skin electrodes
- •Are enrolled in another interventional study
- •Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study
- •Women who can become pregnant but will not or cannot use reliable contraception

What is this study testing?+

Yes. Your health information is only shared with the study sites you choose to be contacted by, and only to help match and enroll you. It is never sold, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
