The study will assess the efficacy and safety of pegozafermin administered in participants with compensated cirrhosis due to MASH (biopsy-confirmed fibrosis stage F4 MASH \[previously known as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, NASH\]).

✅ You may be able to join if…
- •Males or females who are not pregnant, age 18 to 75 (inclusive).
- •Have type 2 diabetes diagnosed at least 3 months before screening OR have at least 2 metabolic risk factors.
- •Have biopsy-confirmed fibrosis stage F4 MASH (NASH) with compensated cirrhosis.
- •Have BMI at screening of at least 25.0 (or at least 23.0 for Asian participants) and less than 50.0 kg/m².
🚫 You may not be able to join if…
- •Have a liver disorder other than MASH.
- •Have any history or evidence that the liver disease became “decompensated” (not compensated).
- •Have a history or evidence of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma).
- •Have type 1 diabetes or poorly controlled type 2 diabetes.
- •Have very high liver enzymes: ALT or AST ≥250 U/L.

What is this study testing?+
The study will assess the efficacy and safety of pegozafermin administered in participants with compensated cirrhosis due to MASH (biopsy-confirmed fibrosis stage F4 MASH \[previously known as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, NASH\]).

This is a late-stage study (Phase 3), testing how well the treatment works in more people. No. You do not need health insurance to take part in a research study, and you will not be asked about your immigration status to join. Taking part is about whether you're a medical fit for the study.

You have the right to understand everything before you agree. Study sites can often provide materials or an interpreter in your language — you can ask the coordinator for one.
